Motorola's Moto E3 is finally coming to India. According to a report byAndroid Headlines, Lenovo will hold an event on September 19, where it will launch the budget smartphone. The phone was first announced in July this year. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 7,000 in India.
The Moto E3 comes with a 5-inch display with 720p resolution. The phone is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor running at a speed of 1.2GHz.
The Moto E3 comes in two memory variants. The cheaper of the two comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, while the other has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Both the variants support expandable storage up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The phone has an 8-megapixel camera on the back and on the front it carries a 5-megapixel shooter.
The Moto E3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which promises an almost pure stock Android experience.
The two variants are also expected to vary on battery capacities. The lower-end Moto E3 packs in 2800mAh battery, while the 2GB variant is expected to get a 3500mAh battery. Some reports have suggested that the 2GB variant will be called Moto E3 Power, although it is not yet confirm if the company will launch both the phones in India or not.
The Moto E line-up has been Motorola's lowest-end smartphone. Cheap price and respectable specifications made it one of the most preferred smartphones in the country.
Before the Sept 19 event, Motorola will also start selling the Play variant of its Moto G4 smartphone. The company will sell the Moto G4 Play on Amazon India website and it is already running a campaign named #FearOfMissingOut on the website.
The Moto G4 Play will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and will come with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The phone has an 8-megapixel rear camera and also carries a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
